Lenten Fish Fries

The Knights of Columbus will again be sponsoring Fish Fries during Lent. Our final fish fry is:

                          Friday, Mar 24

                          Friday, April 7

The menu is fish, French fries, baked macaroni, bread, and salad. The cost is $10.00.  Time: 5:00 p.m. — 8:00 p.m.


Sacrament of Reconciliation

The archbishop has asked all parishes of the archdiocese to set aside Wednesday, March  29, 2017 for confessions.  Time will be 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Bank Drive Through Lines

The Whitney Bank will be open on Good Friday. Please do not park in the drive through lines.


Children’s Choir

Looking for Mater Dolorosa Children ages 7—12 to join the Children’s Choir and sing at the 10:30 Easter Mass!   We will have 2 rehearsals to be announced at a later date. Please contact Linden Uter at 337-254-5780 or for more details.

Cross Walk Routes for Holy Thursday and Good Friday


Holy Thursday Route: Time: 4 pm

Start at 2116 Joliet Street. Proceed to S. Panola on to Dante St. Proceed South on Dante St. 4 blocks to Green St., take a right on to Green St. Proceed on Green 2 blocks to Joliet St., and take a right back on to Joliet. Proceed North on Joliet St. 4 1/2 blocks back to 2116 Joliet where the procession will end.

Good Friday Routes: Both start at 6:30 pm.

Route 1: Begins at Plum to Carrollton to Zimple to Burdette.

Route 2: Begins at Maple St. to Carrollton to St. Charles to Burdette.

We will be inviting all the people here in the Carrollton area and beyond.

All religious and congregations are invited. This is a Prayer Cross Walk that is for all.
